Discovery Time today was skipping. And we did building, and we measured snakes, bears and a giant beanstalk. It was so much fun. I want to build with Mr Edwards. I get to do that next week. By Fletch

Here is a power point to encourage us to think about our bodies and how we can be healthy.

Term 3 learning

We are learning about our bodies.  Our focus this week is our internal organs.  Ask your children to name some of our organs.  What have they learnt about the brain?

Have a wonderful holiday with your children.  Enjoy the snow if that is where you are heading.  Enjoy the warmth, snuggled up at home, if that is more your style.

We have been learning all about birds.
Did you know that birds have different beaks because of the type of food they eat?  Their beaks have evolved over a period of time.

Did you know that the wind helps birds to fly?

Did you know that magpies steal other bird's nests so that they don't have to make their own?
